5500 BY NOV 2025, DRAFT 7-3, 2400 IN 12 HOURS

Long
FX_IDC:XAUUSD   Gold Spot / U.S. Dollar
Introduction - This is a followup to DRAFT 7-2, which was shredded by bears of the UK this morning at 3 AM. Combined layered trends on all time frames say gold is about to correct this problem by going to 2400 before London re-opens in order to avoid shenanigans on the way up.
Naturally, we expect one round of selling in Asian session at the 44-year trend line sitting at 2350. Experience say that old habits die hard and gold will get hammered down at 3 AM ET again an hour after London wakes up.

Detail - Today saw us left DRAFT 7-2 to deal with an emergency signal set off by a consistent pattern of selling out of London early in the morning. After we confirmed that low was indeed in, we finished 7-2 after tagging 2298. However, it's obvious that none of the routes I made available before or after this situation was going to to hit. Binary Forecasting Service trend engine is picking up gold's intention of going to 2410 by avoiding London altogether. Hence, this is base case for next 12 hours. See previous work for reference.

Trend Notes - So the thesis is 5500 in Nov 20205. That means specific targets must get hit at specific dates. Having made it here to 2300 late, the only way to fix that problem forward is hitting 2400 early and that means before London re-opens. This will avoid the the manipulation out of the UK at 3 AM ET.
Comment:
6:02 PM After-market re-open 2300.xx and we are heading for 2350. This I am really sure about.
a) it's the sell off after 2350 that decides if you can go to 2400
b) but any way let's get to 2350
Comment:
6:28 PM, 2302.xx targets?
Comment:
a) well first is 2350,
b) before that would be.. 2330? about right...
c) before that would be 2316 ball park?
d) so topping points SHOULD BE (this is an estimate ok?, not exact science)
e) 2316-2330-2350
Comment:
7:12, more than an hour already and still at 2301.xx
a) this setup reached "spike ready" 2 hours before NY close
b) and it's about to expire
c) because it has no more moves to make
d) either move straight up, or reverse now
e) still a perfect setup
f) but the clock is going to expire soon if it doesn't move to 2316
Comment:
4/3, 8:01 PM, 2299.xx, ok so 2400 move expired, but we still have 2350 setup for a while
a) and hold on
b) it's like this:
Comment:
Comment:
a) for chart above so this the third version of this move already ...
b) it has chosen to ignore the best two routes
c) that's BEGINNING TO BE a problem but not yet a problem
d) bc it didn't move bc no one was buying....
e) and that's the third time in 36 hours that it has not followed through on very strong setups
f) so while we route above is favored, be aware...
g) sentiment is shifting
Comment:
8:59 PM ET, we're going, but slow at first:

Comment:
1:09 PM ET 2300.XX AND NOT WORKING
a) this post is dead
b) no clue what it wants
c) but it's so late that prudence requires me to shut this down
Order cancelled:
a) yeah so I am stumped here
b) it's just not even moved of 2300
c) I'm tired
d) I"m going to bed
Comment:
11:10 PM ET NOTES: IT'S LOOKING SUPER BEARISH RIGHT NOW OK?
a) just from raw scanners
b) something changed in the last 3-4 hours
c) it is now very bearish again
d) so be careful!
e) I'm shorting this thing right now!
Comment:
Comment:
- and by now I mean...
- 2 or 3 hours

Comment:
a) 12:51 AM ET still 2298.xx
b) bears need to hold 2296 for 60-90 minute to trigger the move
c) above 2297, it can still go sideways and on and on
Comment:
Comment:
a) I said earlier if bears push it under 2296 and hold for 60-90 minutes
b) they would win
c) but if they don't it's SIDEWAYS FIRST before bull outcome
d) bc of the missed opportunities hours ago.. there is a soft ceiling on the first big move up
e) which makes it look even MORE LIKE ROLLING OVER formation
f) for the size of the move, 2-way straddling not terrible
g) other wise, wait for it to decide
h) it hasn't decide anything
i) but but bears have a strong short forming
j) while bulls have kept rallhing, the moves have not been impressive considering what they have lined up
k) and the rejection of strong outcome windows
l) so there it is
Comment:
LAST CHANCE FOR BULLS, 1:55 AM ET:
Comment:
a) lose a few points at this arrow...
b) and could be over immediately
Comment:
12/4 2:00 AM , bulls not showing any interest in defending it as this slips to 2294.xx
a) so those are two outcomes
b) good night
Comment:
4/4 7:04 AM ET:
Comment:
1) for chart above
2) bulls gave bears a window and the bears did not show up
3) bull just took out resistance
4) to pattern to similar fractals call for 2380 before NY shut down today
5) I've missed so many of these "massive move in one day or less episodes"
6) that it's worn me out
7) but doesn't mean it shouldn't be respected
8) we are still missing a to'
9) while it doesn't matter HOW we top...
10) the structure of this rally since 1987 is quietly saying top today and big time
Comment:
11) and or the question why I keep "flipping" last couple of days
12) I run a trend engine, intermediate trend at the top's curve keep switching
13 ) that's what I"m supposed to do
14) and if this doesn't break through 2315 today
15) guess what is next?
16) finding a top
17) why stick to something if it's not working?
18) that's not a the hill to die on for me
Comment:
19) any way, it's not obvious that gold can break 2350
20) I was raising huge targets last month
21) expecting an April top 24xx or 25xx
22) that is not the favored outcome anymore
23) those four targets are back to 2360-2580-28xx-3300
24) there's not a lot there to get excited for
Comment:
25) if this line breaks its a problem:
Comment:
Comment:
a) it's broken
b) if it doesn't pull back an keep going
c) just aim 2 levels down at 2265 and 50
d) if it sets back up, can move to 2330 today
e) that's a wrap for me today
Comment:
f) like I said earlier if didn't work , find a top
g) targets through tomorrow are
h) 2271, 65, 55, 50, 30, 20
Comment:
l) it's still 2284.xx as I type
j) so lots of value here
Comment:
k) that's going be all you need
l) have a good weekend
Comment:
Comment:
a) that's why I said earlier "if it sets back up", 2330 is next
b) and that's your signal
c) this rally must be something super strong
Comment:
d) why?
e) I've never seen that curve rollover like that
f) and I mean broken down line by line
g) I've never seen that recover
h) so lets' see what this do
Comment:
BASE CASE: I THINK GOLD ABOUT TO GO NUTS HERE
a) bc surviving those set of curls mean the reversal of all of them
b) let's just hit 2350 first
c) I have the impression that the top won't actually be 2380
d) but higher
e) so what I said in the morning about that fractal
f) different shape now
