A Great Long Opportunity For The S&P 500?

I have identified a cup and handle pattern (see here for more information - https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/cupandhandle.asp) on the daily chart of the S&P 500. This has been confirmed as we have broken out of the previous 2800.000 resistance region which is now a key support region. We are now just hovering above the 2800.000 support region (circled ...

Looking for a minimum 2450 on downside in coming weeks (maybe by end June!) in a c wave although if it turns out to be a third wave lower then it is going much much lower!

Stock indices short DOW and SPX

Already short DOW since January. SPX has been dragged higher kicking and screaming by the NDX/FANG but even SPX now looks like it may be ready to roll over at 2750. Short with stop above 2810 target SUB 2500 coming weeks....

Long with a second long as per my previous recommendation. The baby is ready to move to new highs, first target 2810 though where I will take partial profits.

Sell SPX/SPY

We have a perfect set-up short on SPX/SPY with a DeMark Sequential 9 and 13 print with another 9 sell-setup within the 13 count. I would expect this market to fall if we breach 2600 and target at least 1990 in the first instance. Sell below 2533 which is the low of the first opposing No1 bar count (or bearish flip).

S&P500 moving on an ascending channel.

The S&P500 is moving in an upward channel, as its most recent low is higher than the previous one. The price target is close to the mid-line of the ascending Pitchfork, around 2760. The invalidation comes when the price closed below the recent low.

The intraday rebound in the SPX from the lows could simply be an attempt to fill the opening gap down prior to weakness later in the day

SPX is moving up and potentially to new highs soon

Thursday and Friday was a blatant accumulation, the target is low 2700's. Favourable Profit:Risk ratio. Longer-term it seems that big boys are looking to take indices to new highs to accumulate more shorts before violently turning down in Q3-Q4

SPX Weekly – Neutral, close below 50 MA could see a drop to 2400

Since breaking out in November 2016 post US Election, we saw a huge rally, very smooth with mainly shallow pullbacks , no threat to the 20 MA and a nice and flat ATR curve. Since hitting a peak in January 2018 at 2872, we have seen two deep retracements, each testing the bullish trendline drawn from the Jan 16 low at 1,810. The index is currently positioned ...

S&P 500 - 240 - Building Up Something Bigger Here

S&P 500 added 70 points back into its pocket yesterday and we could see that the bulls were dictating the rules throughout the whole US trading session. If this is not just a temporary move, then we could see some more strength coming in later on today or even this week. Also, looking at the bigger picture, we can see that S&P 500 is forming a triangle and we ...

S&P 500 - 240 - Waiting for Powell.

The index will be heavily watched as we get closer to Jerome Powell’s first appearance as head of the US Federal Reserve. His dovishness or hawkishness on the US inflation outlook could have a strong effect on the markets today, one way or another, bringing in some choppiness into the price action. Yesterday, the S&P 500 gained 1.18% on the day and closed high at ...

sometime i do wonder how come these dots (high and low) can all lined up, it must be the market momentum or sentiment at the time. It appears to be predictable for high or low to stop at this line or that line, but we all know it's far from predictable. Again, long or short depends on you trading for a day or a month, same old game betwen the patient and impatient.

S&P 500 - 240 - Consolidation

US markets could come under pressure again this week with the US CPI release that is due to come out on Wednesday. Even with the recent sell-offs, S&P 500 is still on the overall upwards moving trendline. We would need to see a move back to its recent lows of around 2530 to consider shorting this market again. For now we are quite neutral on the S&P 500 and may ...
