Fundamentals:

⚜️JPY = BoJ monetary policy meeting minutes publishes a study of economic movements in Japan after the actual meeting. Any changes in the report tend to affect the JPY volatility. If the BoJ minutes show a hawkish outlook, that is seen as positive/bullish for the JPY, while a dovish outlook is seen as negative/bearish.

⚜️USD
- Continuing Jobless Claims: measure the number of individuals who are unemployed and are currently receiving unemployment benefits. It presents the strength in the labor market. A high reading is seen as negative, low is seen as positive. Predicted to slightly drop from 12.628M to 12.339M.
- Initial Jobless Claims 4-week average: it measures new applications that being submitted for state unemployment insurance over the 4 week time period. A decreasing number is seen as positive, increasing as negative. Predicted to rise from 912.000K to 944.077K
- Initial Jobless Claims: predicted to drop from 860K to 843K
- Treasury Sec Mnuchin speech: his mission is to maintain a strong economy, foster economic growth, and create job opportunities. His speeches always create volatility in USD pairs.
- FED Chair Powell's testimony before Congress: 2nd part of his testimony in explaining to Congress how does FED is planning economic recovery and further growth. We already have seen what his speeches have created over the last two days. High volatility expected and his speech is seen as a USD strength.
- New Home Sales MoM: is an important measure of housing market conditions. House buyers spend money on furnishing and financing their homes so as a result the demand for goods and services is stimulated. A high reading is seen as positive for $ and low reading as negative. Predicted to fall from 0.901M to 0.890M.
- FED William's speech: his speeches are important however do not create high volatility in the market.
