News on May 30th, the third round of the Ethereum Research Grant (ETH Research Grant) has been officially opened on the developer incentive platform DoraHacks.io, and the anonymous MACI protocol is used for the first time, which is also the industry's first community using anonymous MACI governance. The anonymous MACI protocol adds anonymity between MACI administrators and users to achieve the complete anonymity of the MACI protocol. The projects entering the Grant voting round this round are Spot on Chain, Design Protocol and ZkBlind. In this round of voting, addresses with vcDORA will automatically be eligible to vote. From May 29th to June 8th, the vcDORA community can vote for the supported projects through the DoraHacks platform, and the results of the voting will determine the distribution of the $5,000 funding.
The ETH Research Grant aims to provide long-term funding for developers and researchers in the Ethereum community. The funding topics cover account abstraction/ERC4337, address privacy, proof of knowledge, DeGov, Ethereum expansion, Data Availability, Rollups, zkEVM/zkVM, ERC/EIP, and Ethereum application adoption and more. The event registration portal is open for a long time, and project selection and funding are carried out regularly.
