Ethereum Long Term Trend Analysis: SO_MA_X

POLONIEX:ETHUSDT   Ethereum / Tether USD
Testing out a long term trend configuration for SO_MA_X. In its normal form, SO_MA_X could probably be abused as a skimmer, though it can do a good job of producing alerts on lows and highs, also providing visual cues to those conditions.

Here, the indicator, like others made under the pen name Latticephreak, can be temporally inverted, if you will, spreading the indicator's purview across a longer interval than the chart on which it depends for input. The indicator compares EMA and HMA series which were originally tuned to high accuracy scraping.

While lines have not yet been automated, and curves are unlikely to ever be, the manual work of hunting down projection correlates produces some interesting artifacts. The first projections made follow the price action between peak and dip oriented crossings of the two trend lines. Everything is built on top of that.

"Events" are shown over this gross time frame as they arise according to crossings and their bounds, some of which form support and resistance lines.

Flags are intersections of interest, but they shouldn't be taken too seriously where they might be mistaken otherwise for price prediction.

The 'Golden Line' here is posited to be one which, once crossed would only hold as valid should the price line turn the purple line blue, into a support line. As it stands, it is both red and blue, an initial barrier and a potential support. It's container stretches to the time limit.

A similar bit of information is available for the support bundle, near the bottom. The red line around the container simply indicates a zone of concern on downward price action.

The crossing blue and red dotted lines provide some context. If the price drops below the blue line, and it does this before the red line intersecting it is encountered by the price line, new analysis is likely going to be necessary.

Caveats apply. It's a thought experiment, not advice. Please trade wisely -- and then you can write to tell me how to do that, b/c my EQ is below the minimum required to keep panic at bay 0o ;)) OK, maybe not. But I could still use the advice.

If this chart piques your interest, drop me a tip on what I should also be looking out for, in the cryptoverse.

Some see a ceiling where there may be a chandelier of stars under an open sky. How does 4.8K + sound. It's not really predicted as a near term high -- unless the trend falls through support on a jaunt into the waters rouge. But there is a wide open, including in interpretation, n'est pas?

While the chart remains 5H, TUT is set to 3D, smoothing moving average plotted lines, changing intersect points. Lime and fuchsia lines are extrapolated this way, providing a reference middle ground on high / low possibilities.

Well, I hope I've come close with the vertical lines and those which appear to contain, as projected price lines, the movement over this rather much shorter span of time that was more prominently presented upon the launch of this series. Color has been put to the vertical lines, but it's mostly there as a thought experiment. If you were an ML algorithm, does any of it make sense and how do you spin matrices out of it, assuming the lines were automatically created and then colored, as the interval inputs, if you will. Anyway, this diagram will have to suffice, as the manual original to some higher level of automation, should I and the future meet on this score. There's a lot of information out here, and from those first single neuron projects to massively adopted frameworks
whose calculations are catered to in custom silicon, enabling massively dense fully connected neuronal-like networks and the matrix engines which crunch it all down into a specified location of a gradient equaling 1 or 0. Man, do I ever want some polar spiral calculations in there, too. I just like watching the square around a circle, or a cyclone in a courtyard, whichever makes the chill run down a spine. A walk in the cold, or a walk in the hot, some descents make it, or not.

Shall we agree on a toast: to jumping up to the grey line and bursting the bubble...

From the same chart, I'm calling the clown in front 'puddytatam', only came around once.

Is there perhaps a good chance ETH will maintain a bull demeanor in the very near term, at the very least staying above or winding the fuchsia trend line, a rough continuation of its past three months of performance.
