Decred: it was not named BitcoinSuite by chance!

In the first half of 2019, investors in crypto-currencies returned to fundamentals:
The market speaks for itself about altcoins which are mostly empty shells.

In 2019, obviously the market is not mistaken and plebicite essentially, not to say exclusively, the only cryptocurrencies that have the characteristics of RESERVES OF VALUE: Bitcoin and Litecoin.

If we could talk about digital gold for Bitcoin and digital silver for Litecoin, I'm wondering for some time what would prevent creating new Bitcoin with the same characteristics of value reserve, deflation, with a well-defined max supply (21 Millions for Bitcoin), always with the security guarantee of the Proof of Work (POW) but less centralized in the hands of some minors, less energy consuming, with slower transactions...

And to this question, after days and days of research, I found only one coin that meets all these ideal criteria: it was named "Bitcoin Suite", it is also limited to 21 Million units, but with decentralized governance (complementary voting system) in opposition to the centralization of minors on Bitcoin, transactions twice as fast (5 minutes instead of 10), much more secure by comparing to marketcap equal, all thanks to a hybrid POW + POS for the best of both worlds... and this cryptocurrency is called since 2016: DECRED!
Comment:
But everything is not perfect: if DECRED is in the top 50 most valued coins, it's however in the shadow of BITCOIN.
Just $ 30 per DCR for improved features compared to a BTC worth more than $ 11,000 !

There is no question of becoming a competitor, the community of DECRED is particularly benevolent, grateful and humble vis-à-vis BITCOIN, which contrasts sharply with the attitude on others sulfurous Bitcoin Forks !

But Decentralized Credit is strangely very poorly valued compared to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin SV, Monero or Dash...

And if their community was too humble, too much erased in the end? If their will not to surf the hype was in question, in the middle of hundreds of crypto which are only huge machines to make the hype and pump & dump?

The marketing choice of the name "Decred" not very evocative could also be implicated?
And I'm not the first to say it... Some English speakers (I'm French) find that the prefix "De" has a negative connotation (?)

Fortunately I quickly realized that Decred does not judge on the style, but on the content, and that this name was not chosen by chance as his community very well explains in the following article:

And if the relative low current visibility, and therefore the current low valuation, of what is for me a future Top 5, was precisely our chance, your chance, to be able to own some of the 9 million DCR $ 30 per unit ? Like the early adopters of Bitcoin in 2010 ?

For me it's a HODL, the technical analysis is of little importance on such a long term investment... I can simply note that Decred seems to have entered a new bull market cycle since mid-December 2018 as RSI 14 points out, this was an oversold RSI, as it happens very rarely on this time scale! On the DCR-BTC pair, we are also near the bottom... the history shows that such lows had led to significant growth in Satoshi for the benefit of DCR... provided that the story comes to be repeated.

DISCLAIMER: This idea is primarily about a long term investment. Keep in mind that a purchase in the day price may experience lows. Invest only what you can afford to lose and therefore only a small part of your global wealth. Make your own opinion and don't listen "prophet", you are solely responsible for your actions.

Did you know that Decentralized Credit implemented and used Lightning Network before Bitcoin? ;)

And in many sci-fi movies, the digital currency used is called CREDITS ;)

Moreover, Charlie Lee (*) had proposed: "I think that 1000 lites = 1 LTC :L, 1000 credits = 1 DCR"

(*) Formerly developer at Google, Charlie Lee is the co-founder and developer of Litecoin, but also one of the developers behind Decred

Following this winning daytrade, I advise not to stay on Decred but to have all his bag on Bitcoin only!

For me, Decred is the strongest altcoin. If there was only one Altcoin to keep for HODL, it's Decred! Despite this, he can not currently fight against Bitcoin.

Decred can make you win in Dollars of course, but hardly in Satoshi, because it is not his time!

Decred must first solve a major problem: its current inflation of 20% (less than 10 million DCR in circulation) against only 3% inflation of Bitcoin (more than 17 million BTC in circulation) .

However, there will be 17 Million DCR in circulation as BTC today, only by 2026!

On the other hand, it is possible to open tickets with Decred for Rewards Staking of about 10% per year, which makes up for its inflation, but not enough vis-à-vis of Bitcoin!

The time of the Top 2 will certainly arrive for Decred, but it's too early ... so watch closely to get into the rocket only when it takes off!

Scenario possible and not to be missed if signals arrive (I don't know when.. 2019..2020..202?) :

The rebound of these last days on Decred took place on one of the two historical supports of beginning 2017:

I will not be able to say if it is "already" the time of Decred, because there is the main support not yet reached, which I had identified you (red line of the bottom) in my previous update (June 26, 2019) .

But my opinion is always the same: I see no solid future for any altcoin to date. But if there is one of serious, sincere, with a real use case, the 2nd SoV (Store of Value) complementary Bitcoin, it would certainly Decred and no other! It still has to prove itself, particularly through the impact of its decentralized governance and the proposals retained and implemented in Politeia.
