On May 24th, 2023 Elon Musk hosted US Florida Governor Ron DeSantis where he formally announced his Presidential run. During the recorded interview attended by over 6.5 million people, Governor DeSantis pledged to protect the freedoms of Bitcoin. His opponent Robert Kennedy who is also running for US President is also pledging to protect the freedoms of Bitcoin. Regardless of whether these politicians actually will, they will spend the next several months talking about Bitcoin throughout their campaign. Despite all issues, Bitcoin is the one thing that republicans and democrats can agree on.
