Our strategy has presented a Gold short and it's currently heading in the right direction.
We are working the 15M time frame here and yes we are aiming for TP3 which is just over a 1:28 risk reward ratio!!
Before you think we are crazy please find the back test data at the foot of this heading for trading the pair in this manner.
Now the back test data I'm doing something different here is based on a £250 account trading 0.01 the smallest lot possible!
As you will see we have 300% ROI investment with minimal dd, also take the time to press the sub menus and pay particular attention to the 'list of trades' menu.
Here you will find every single trade taken since March and logged. This will give a better of understanding of how profit its gained as we are not always hitting the 1:28 RR.
Why are we aiming for 1:28 RR on this pair?
Because from the data provided by the built in strategy tester we know our trading has an edge trading gold in this manner. Which has also proved to be the most profitable way too.
Simple as that really and no we don't hit 1:28 trades all the time. Sometimes we have a reverse signal with the live trade at the time being profit.
At this point we simply close that trade and take the next one that the strategy has presented on our charts. Sometimes as you will see from the data we have losers too which is s part of trading.
For me, trading is about freedom.
Tot up the time you spend at the charts and you'd be surprised at the figure.
With the strategy we use it removes all this excess time at the charts trying to plot your next trade, then the exit and stop loss etc etc.
All of the mention above adds to stress and anxiety which in turn leads to trading being overwhelming. How is this freedom?
