stop should have been a bit higher above the liquidity pool, as those are likely to get run, usually if I'm actively trading I don't set a stop, rather I have an area that I watch closely and make the decision depending on how price action looks.

overall I'm happy with the premise of this idea, but we need some more patience in the future.

I am NOT advocating not using a stop loss - I am very strict about not letting my losses run. I just don't like getting my stop run on a wick candle and then watching the trade go to my target.

So, I like to make sure my stop area is definitely broken, before closing the trade. Only do this if you trust yourself to be disciplined. If you can't, it doesn't mean you're a bad trader, rather that's just one thing you could work on.

Personally, that method just works better for me. When I use automated SL, I find they tend to get run pretty often.
