Setup Sunday 10-09-2023

Hello Traders,

Here's my setup sunday again for the next week, last week was very slow. The market is clearly in a consolidation/pullback phase..let's see what the next week will bring. Hopefully we will see a bit more action again.

Monday Update: No trades have been taken, everything is still against the trend or consolidating, a lot of gaps have not been closed yet so there's still more to come later on this week.

It was also because of the fact that there was absolutely no high impact economical news Today.

For tomorrow we have the following Newsitems coming up:
AUD Westpac Consumer Confidence Change (Sep)
AUD NAB Business Confidence (Aug)
GBP Employment Change (Jun)
GBP Unemployment Rate (Jul)
EUR CPI (Aug)
EUR ZEW Economic Sentiment Index (Sep)

I'm expecting some more moves from tomorrow on again, let's see what tomorrow will bring us! :)

Tuesday + Wednesday update

Tuesday
I took a trade on Gold yesterday with my different stategy. I took a sell on Tuesday at 10:44 CET on 1916.27..it was running down nicely during the day, but at a certain point it was a bit on a standstill again because of the loss of volatility in the market. I've closed the gold trade at 20:27 CET on 1913.06..gave me 32.1 pips during the day.

Wednesday:
This morning I also took a trade on CADJPY, the gap has been closed, it broke above and created a nice fibonacci retracement. After the confirmed re-break of it I've entered it for a Buy this afternoon at 15:14 on 108.810..I'm letting it run until it breaks below my trendlines and if it's going in the direction of my SL or until it's hitting my TP (TP is on 110.000

I didn't took a trade on Gold today because it was too far away from the resistance trendline (Was looking for a Sell option)

Tomorrow (Thursday) There's a lot of USD news coming up, let's see how this will effect my CADJPY trade and Gold.
