once it is above 5.2%, and mortgage 30y rates above 7% for over 6+ months, Fed would have to back off (at least temporary), and load up the tanking boat (Balance sheet that is taking severe losses) to make it even worse.
Comment:
Homesellers are locked in 3s mortgages, homebuyers cant afford 7%. Banks (mostly regionals) are strong "bye bye"
