This is my Technical analysis on UONEK based on my opinion and outlook of the market. A brief description about Ticker symbol UONEK,: you dont always got to follow the name brand stocks.
the company itself is named Urban One Inc.and according to yahoo finance "The company operates through four segments: Radio Broadcasting, Cable Television, Reach Media, and Digital". The company's stock price has outperformed the S&P 500 by roughly 20% within the past five years when comparing individual growth percentage. This is a company I have personally invested into, I believe there is an opportunity for growth within these sectors for the company to expand into a larger market and reach a wider audience, Urban One Inc has taken noticed and is capitalizing off of it. Expanding into new terrorities strategitcally such as the casino industry assumes more risk however if successful, the value of the company will reflect it. UONEK did lose a dollar value recently due to (from my understanding) not being able to secure a referendum to build a casino in Richmond however they haven't abandoned plans and are making another attempt. there is no guarentted that they will recieve the referendum for the casino. overall i personally believe that doesnt devalue its price. Even after high uncertainity and volatile market conditions UONEK has been able to not only stay afloat but grow during tough times; even after being effected by the pandemic and econmic tension. that in my opinion is a testament to the companies strength. I could be wrong but im long UONEK. By my techinical analyis and most recent fundamental analysis of the previous earnings report UONEK reaching an a high of $13 by 2024 is highly likely in my opinion. With the Casino talks still in play, their is a lot of uncertainty for UONEK this week being their earnings call is May 5, 2022. With Earnings ahead this week and the climate of the current market, its likely the price will be effected intra day. EX: UONEK opened today at around $6.03 rising nearly 5% while erasing 4% with an hour before market close. This will be exciting to see in real time.
