I know i know, the gigafactory is almost completed, bringing with it HUGE incentive to be long here.
However, with the current downturn in the global economy i can see tsla yet again failing to meet targets on demand and for multiple "quality control" issues to slow up production.
Sure, you could say but the chinese market and you'd be correct. However, the rmb is used is used in approx 9/10ths of 1% of global trade so changing those RMB for USD will be vital for TSLA's growth moving forward (and thats even if the ccp allows TSLA to move the money)...
In global markets trust is a must.
The above combined with increasing global tensions, increased competition from within the industry and input from what the TA is telling me has me set for a short position here.
It may look like a long shot but our risk is minimal.
