Hey everyone,

Posting late. Xmas is a big thing for my close family and friends so it kind of consumed my time this weekend. Plus, being the one with the biggest house I always have to host everybody :-/.

Anyway, hope you all had a great Christmas / Holiday and what not and are ready for the end-of-year shenanigans!

So the levels and thresholds are in the chart. I expect low volume to continue to be the theme into EOY so I don't expect any decisive moves. Expect the same rangey shenanigans we have seen the past few weeks.

That said, on the probability said, its all leaning bearish, momentum, regression, Z-Score, its all pointing down, but without volume to back it, its just not going to happen.

Here are some levels on other things:

QQQ:

IWM:

Side note, I haven't been tracking IWM and so was quite the surprise to see it over 200 today.
I did end up doing a day trade on it long. I think because we are likely entering a sustained bull market into 2024 with tech vastly over-extended, I suspect small caps will be the go to of the next bull market. But this is massively speculative on my part.

There is a bearish 99 on IWM and on RTY, keep in mind, but just to the low of the threshold.

BA

Has already broken out. Upside target 266.

My suggestion:
Day trade only.
I have even went back to day trading shares at this point because the market is so low volume and so choppy if you are trading the indices. Even larger cap stocks are pretty choppy. Shares have been great because the moves to catch are small, scalpy moves and its much easier to manage the R:R on those with shares than with options. By the time the stock moves you're already decayed to death and net red, etc. Just so much drama with them.

Also, you probably saw, but I released this years Xmas gift, the volume profile indicator,
you can get it here.

Safe trades everyone! Let me know your questions below and enjoy the rest of your holidays!

With the breakouts everywhere, we should snag at least PH1 on the weeklies for QQQ and SPY and PH2 for IWM.

IWM is my play for tomorrow atm, long until we take out PH2 and then re-assess.

Safe trades everyone!
Trade closed: target reached:
IWM snagged PH2.
Shorted from there and still short on it. Targeting 202.75. Trail stop at 204.02.

I don't think it's a buy the dip day today. Lots of bearish continuation signs showing up.
But likely just a today thing and uptrend resumption tomorrow...
Comment:
Confirmed, indices were not a buy the dip, but neither were tickers.
Really awful day, I ended up doing like 2 trades and called it quits, just too choppy.

I am out for tomorrow because its just not worth this choppy price action, but things are showing kind of a bearish continuation into tomorrow. Though, realistically, I am not expecting anything major until January.

Those are my thoughts for now. Safe trades everyone and enjoy the rest of your trading week :-)!
