In my country, where there are plenty of taxis and now with Grab and Uber, the incentives to get a car, even a used car (we call it 2nd hand car) has plunged even further (at least for me). Getting around is really easy with MRT and public buses. Occasionally, if I am out with my family , we might take a Grab taxi.
But now, these Grab and Uber drivers are badly hit in their business as they are allowed to take only 3 passengers instead of the usual 4. A family with 2 kids would consist of 4 passengers and this make it hard for me to travel by this mode.
However, in big country like US where there are many states and used cars price are much cheaper compared to SG, the incentives to get one is there.
Looking at the chart, if you think SPX500 V shaped reversal of around 60% is a big deal, wait till you check out this stock. It has gone up 400% at peak or 300% at current price since the March low. That is 5x better than investing in SPX500.
I believe this buying of used car trends will continue as disposable income continues to suffer, job market is still in doldrums, retrenchment and wage cuts still rampant.

Praise the Lord. Last night, it closed with a bullish engulfing candle but what's more important is it returns inside the bullish trend line. If this is not a fake one, then next week, will be exciting.
