$PLTR heading to sub $5

Short

BATS:PLTR   Palantir Technologies Inc.
With the rejection of $21, PLTR looks set to fall to new lows.

I think it's likely that we're going to sweep the lows at $8 and keep falling from there to a final target of $1-2.

This will likely take place at some point in the back half of 2024 and should present a great buying opportunity once it gets down to those levels.

Let's see what happens over the coming months.

Opened up a starter put position yesterday. 4/19 $20 P.

Closed for 100% gain. If NVDA beats, then I can see this retesting the highs at $25 or potentially go as high as the $27 area. That's where I'd want to add puts again and then will hold for the larger move down.

Bought 100 contracts of $5P for 1/17/2025 this morning.

Added another 150 contracts to the short side this morning

All you commenting that I'm wrong... the only thing I've been wrong on is that price broke my trend line (which I drew). I can just redraw trend lines because trendlines really don't matter. I haven't invalidated my analysis and still think it'll play out.

Reality is, the only short on pltr I took I exited for 100% (so I haven't lost money on this). Then if you read the actual analysis, which most of you don't do because you don't know how to do technical analysis yourself or read a chart, you'll know that I was expecting this move to play out the back half of 2024.

I closed the puts for 100% gain because I saw risk of NVDA beating earnings (which happened) and price going up to $25-27 (which also happened). Now there's less risk for me to start building the short to follow the original idea that I shared. Although 27 could get tagged again, if it does, then I'll just keep building my short.

Good luck to all of the longs holding here. I truly wish you success.
