Max India Limited was formed in June 2020 after Max India – the erstwhile arm of the Max Group – merged its healthcare assets into Max Healthcare and demerged its senior care and other allied businesses in June 2020 into a new wholly owned subsidiary called Advaita Allied Health Services Ltd which was later renamed as Max India Ltd.

In FY23, Antara-branded wheelchairs, walkers, and commode chairs were launched, and senior-specific features were incorporated into the design. The same are available on Amazon, Flipkart & Tata 1MG. The company sold ~125 units through offline & online channels in FY23.

Antara is a WOS of Max India. It is an integrated service provider for all senior care needs. It operates two main lines of business - Residence for Seniors and Assisted Care Services.
Antara has now 152 beds across Delhi NCR and is now the largest provider in NCR.

Care at Home” services deliver healthcare services such as home critical care, diagnostics, nursing care, pharmacy, and physiotherapy to seniors inside their own home’s comfort. It plans to set up a chain of 35-40 Care Homes in the next three years

Antara plans to invest ~Rs. 300 crore in the next four to five years across all business verticals and has sufficient liquidity to finance this growth. The vision involves the launch of 2,000 beds in Care Homes, strengthening the care-at-home services portfolio, expanding
MedCare products vertical and creating 9 to 10 residential communities.
