When earnings were announced a few days ago, and GME crashed like it does ... every. single. time. ...I had a look at past earnings drops to see just how far that predictability might be extended. Before I knew it, I was all the way back to 2007, and honestly, the resemblance is uncanny.
I mean, it's almost like they're both long-lost twins. I wonder where these mutual effects come from. Is it something unique to GME, or is this market-wide? Maybe that's where I'll look next. I have heard many murmurings regarding similar market mechanics at play, and impending 2008-style doom. I don't know enough to know if they have any cred.
Anyway, if GME plays out like this, it's positive for them at least.
