The GBP/USD has risen to 1.2714 and then stabilized near 1.2700. This currency pair reached its strongest closing level since August 30th, thanks to the weakness of the US dollar. The appetite for risk and lower bond yields have weighed on the USD, contributing to the upward movement of the GBP/USD pair, which is not entirely surprising.
