According to ING Bank's report:

US perspective: Due to global economic uncertainty and regulatory policy adjustments, US banks are further tightening lending conditions, putting pressure on the US economy. Banks are becoming more cautious in approving loans, paying attention to borrowers' credit records, income sources, and debt conditions. This may limit loans for individuals, families, and businesses, thereby affecting the real estate market, consumer spending, and investment plans of companies. While tightening lending conditions can control risks, it may also drag on the economy.

European perspective: The latest bank stress tests show that most European banks have demonstrated resilience in the face of a challenging economic environment and unfavorable conditions. These banks exhibit strong capital reserves and robust financial conditions, proving their ability to withstand potential financial crises. Although most banks perform well, some face potential risks and challenges, and regulatory authorities may recommend appropriate risk management and capital enhancement measures. Bank stress tests are crucial tools to ensure the health of the European financial system, contributing to overall risk resilience and stability.
