Blockchain Used To Store Simulated Alien Information From Mars

The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute (SETI) recently partnered with decentralized data storage marketplace Filecoin to store simulated alien information from Mars. Called Spacemark, the project aims to simulate the transmission of alien-coded messages to Earth using the European Space Agency's ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter currently orbiting Mars. This performance is designed to engage a community interested in decoding and interpreting information, bridging different cultural and professional areas.
