Is Eth about to decouple from the BTC Shackles?

Hi all, I understand that we're in a Bear market with Btc currently following it's 2018 path so I was surprised to see that Eth seems to be following the same Fractal as it's 2016 inception.
This would mean the beginning of a year long bull run which would surely see the decoupling between Eth & Btc & possibly the crowning of Eth as top dog?

Thoughts?

Eth is still following it's previous Fractal, posting a higher low yesterday.
I predict that we'll see a good spike in price within the next 5 days.
