So I had another interesting idea. I wanted to buy some eth and it looked like a good price. So as I was doing this setup for the long term, I couldn't find any good long term historical values. So this is an assumption.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but eth just seems like it is going down, I mean way down. According to the day chart and the weekly chart, you can see that a h&s is forming. My guess is that it will continue down as the months go by to the price marks in red. I want to believe that the price mark in blue is the likely medium on when eth will continue sideways until the bull comes back around.
It looks like it will not be good for eth until January 2020. So why do I say this? Eth is a platform. Alot of ERC-20 tokens are becoming more than what eth can handle and so they will transfer themselves out of eth and start their own tokens (mainnet). Sometimes tokens just have to expand out of their programming to be even bigger. Look at what is happening right now. Lots of great altcoins are moving away from eth. Eth was the beginning. Eth is not the world in which tokens live in.
