Every time the fed raises interest rates, there has been some form of upward movement. The last time the federal reserve increased their interest rate was July. Since then we have not received any rate cut. The upcoming federal meeting, I’m seeing a possible rate cut. Seeing as inflation is still not where its supposed to be (below the 2%) threshold, this could trigger a likelihood of a rate cut. Which in turn will initiate a rally upwards.

The rally will look forward to take out the highs of last year, and create a new high from last years all time high. The effects will similarly be seen in the other derivative markets correlated to the $.

The direction of the market still needs to be certain. We will know for sure after the fed announces the decision of the meeting.
