Record of corona attack in Pakistan in one day
In the last 24 hours, another 6,625 people have been newly infected with coronavirus in Pakistan; Which is the highest number of attacks in a single day in the country so far. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the country has increased to 1 lakh 39 thousand 230 people.
Pakistan's health ministry said on Sunday that 80 people had died of corona in the country in 24 hours and 6,625 had been newly infected.
The ministry said the death toll in Corona had risen to 2,632. So far, however, 51,835 people have recovered after being infected with corona.
Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated in Pakistan's Punjab and Sindh provinces. The number of victims in these two provinces is more than one lakh.
According to the Pakistan Ministry of Health, 52,601 corona patients have been identified in Punjab and 51,517 in Sindh province. Besides, 18,450 people in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 6,026 in Balochistan, 6,934 in Islamabad, 1,095 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 604 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir have been affected by corona.
In the last 24 hours, 29,546 coronas have been tested in Pakistan; With this, the total number of examinations in the country is 6 lakh 8 thousand 575.
According to Johns Hopkins University in the United States, more than 600,000 people worldwide have been infected with the highly contagious corona and more than 430,000 have died so far.
Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated in the United States; More than 2 million people in the country have been infected with the virus. Besides, more than 1 lakh 15 thousand died.
