It can take a single candle in the opposing direction to wipe the sentiment in crypto, we're seeing signs of that now as leveraged long positions chasing the (current) top of the trend get obliterated.
This was a healthy retracement lower and only $3,000 in movement from the highs. Nothing wild. We consider this a preview of what's likely going to follow soon.
