This is how my TradingView is setup. Notice the split screen with the 15m on the left for context and the 5m on the right for entries. Notice how the 15m smooths out the drops so you have a better chance of finding the real bottom.
Notice how you can layer the MFI on the same window. I put 5m, 15m, 1h MFI on the same chart and you can see when they match up i.e. most are on the bottom. Saves you chart hopping.
The other indicators are the MACD and Stochastics which give confirmation. For MACD I simply wait for the blue line to move up sharply against the orange, rather than wait for the cross. Use 8, 21, 10 settings on the MACD to get a better lineup with the Stochastics. The two together with the Heikin-Ashi are great.
