base on the bitcoin historic patterns, I think two scenarios will likely to unfold in the near future: 1. bitcoin is in an incompleted bull market and it is going to reach around $100k within the next 6 month. 2. bitcoin is in an incompleted bear market, and it is going to reach a new low around $1800 within the next 8 month. if a major financial crisis occurred(which is very likely to happen) I think bitcoin will go down with it, since bitcoin remains a speculative asset and the fundamentals do not allow it to be used by people other than speculative investors. if bitcoin hits 100k in an explosive manner, it will mean that bitcoin will go through a much bigger bear market, and perhaps it will last more than 2- 3 years. I hope Bitcoin will be technically ready to embrace the world by then.
