Happiness is a state of mind

BITSTAMP:BTCUSD   Bitcoin
BTC has continued higher without much retrace after I took some profits at around $16000. Undoubtedly, I missed some of the potential profits from $16k to $22k on BTC.

However, as updated previously, I have moved most of my BTC positions into alts (including XRP that went from $0.25 to $0.75 in which mentioned in the recent XRP updates). I don’t think I have missed any potential gains from a portfolio perspective.

My goal is not to have as many BTC as possible, but rather to maximise my portfolio in terms of $. While many are trying to focus on buying that 1-2 coins they love, I only buy the ones present me with excellent entry conditions as well as huge potentials. For instance, if I missed the opportunity to buy BTC, I can buy XRP. If I missed the opportunity to buy XRP, I can buy others that have not yet been pumped, like XTZ. By doing this, I allow myself to always buy cheap and sell high which, gives me a piece of mind.

Currently, BTC is near the previous ATH. It is certainly not the best time to trade as now is the best time for the institutions to stop hunt both sellers & buyers. From an investing perspective, I am certainly not going to re-enter my positions without any retracement. I prefer to miss the opportunity to re-enter than having to force myself to buy at such a high price level. As mentioned above, there are plenty of opportunities in the market.

I only trade what I understand and that aligned with my trading strategies. Don't follow my strategy blindly and/or partially as you may not know the way I manage my trades and my portfolio.

I have been showing you exactly how I manage my portfolio since 2018. I hope you like it and continue to support me if you appreciate it.

I am happy with the gains from 2018, what about you?
