Average volume drop

BITSTAMP:BTCUSD   Bitcoin
To say that there's a drop in volume in BTC trading can be misleading. First of all bitcoin has got incredibly expensive so trading 100 bitcoins several years ago is incomparable to trading the same bitcoins today but there's an important factor in play here which shows a negative trend of volume for bitcoins. The 2017 peak was characterized by constantly growing volume until the very top but this time there is a significant drop beyond $30k area this year. Could this be the area where most bitcoins have been accumulated and won't be sold cheaper than that? Could this be where bitcoin is going now? It just seems that any price above that has become almost prohibitive and unrealistic for average Joe and we're in fact in a distribution phase, not any further accumulation.
