The S S Lamboat and crew were on their way to the Tropical Aisles, lattitude 11 705. They had sailed South from Bull Reef, Lattitude 10 000, due to a lack of wind pressure. The BiTCal barometer had dropped to 8978.

Seagull made the most of the slow cruising by going for a dive in the clear aqua waters surrounding the Minor Bear Reefs. He saw beautiful multi coloured shells and the world famous coral stalks, the Volumnus Numerous. As he swam over the long and short and red and green stalks, it seemed that there were more of the red ones than the green behind him. But up ahead, there were more of taller green ones.

Capt. called for Seagull to get back onboard. The Lamboat had cleared the last Bear Reef and the sail was filling, so Capt turned Lamboat to the NE. His plotted course was to follow the Purple Reef all the way back up to Lattitude 10 00, where there were gaps in Bull Reef for them to pass through to continue the voyage to the TA's. All they needed was the wind.
There was 9267 BiTCals of pressure and the gauge was rising.
When sailing, you can't be in any rush. Progress is governed by the wind and you never know for sure if or when it will blow your way.

The S S Lamboat's barometer stopped rising at 9340 BiTCals and again, there wasn't enough momentum for the voyage to continue Nth.
They were leisurely cruising along and Seagull went for a dive to see the rare coral stalks. The red and green Volumous Numerous were a lot shorter the further they were from the Reefs.
They had thinned out so much, Seagull found an old chest full of bits of coin. He knew he would be able to sell them for profit to the tourists up in the T. A. islands.
