In December 2017, Bitcoin started a correction pattern that brought its value from the top of 20’000 USD to the recent low of about 9’000 USD. The descending trend seems to be completed according to the Elliot waves theory, therefore the uptrend which started few days ago could significantly rise the value of BTC. From the 7th December 2017 up to now, a descending flag was generated with the completion of a Elliot descending impulse wave. According to the length of the flag pole, the recently started uptrend should bring the value of BTC up to 24’000 USD.
