A huge proportion of charts posted here on Tradingview are always looking for a reversal. With my system I am trying to hop on trends, there is no need to pick the perfect reversal points as long as you set a risk management strategy. Yes, I lose trades too, -1R here, -1R there but in the end it all gets covered by the disproportionately large wins. I know how satisfying it is when your pivot actually works, but that is also why so many people lose money in the markets; everyone is searching for that dopamine.

We've been uptrending since around the 15th December so don't fight it.

I'm sharing with you guys a look at my custom indicator to highlight points where there is increased probability of emerging trends so take advantage of it! It has taken countless hours/days/weeks to develop.

We're currently sitting at a 38R return, with 24.5R guaranteed so follow along and move your stops up to the 4811 level as shown with the red line. I will be trailing my stops up with my indicator until I get stopped out in profit.

I'm not trying to bash anyone if you are profitable picking pivots then keep it up - we might even reverse right now - I'm not trying to time the market and I will post another analysis when a new XBT trade is triggered. I just want you guys to keep in mind that trading does not need to as hard as most make it out to be, no need to pick tops and bottoms, just buy lower and sell higher. I also suggest you look into forming your own strategy which can be mechanised in order to greatly remove the influence of your bias.

tl;dr: Don't fight the trend, even moving averages work with the correct risk management strategy. Look into making a mechanical trading strategy I only need to check once every 4 hrs now. Dumb money will fight the trend all the way until we near the point it actually reverses.

Good luck!
