AAPL breaks range.

Looks promising for an intraday trade or possible swing for those not already in this. A break above 127.32 leaves room to 130. I would enter on a pull back from 127.32 then break above with a stop below the pull back pivot. For a swing I would wait for the 1 hour candle to close above triangle and then enter. Stops for the swing would be a close back below the smaller box.

Additional Info:
I am an intraday scalper and short term swing trader of stocks & Futures using options and equity.
I focus on high volume momentum stocks in strong uptrends.
My time frame is between 5minutes to 5 days on most trades.
I scale into positions and scale out of positions as my targets are hit.
I always trail my stops after T1 is hit to reduce risk and lock in gains.
If my post is on a Weekly/Daily/240M chart the idea is a swing trade.
If my post is on a 60M chart or lower the idea is a day trade.
Day trades can turn into swing trades if the stock is strong.
All trades should be supported by market direction.
Treat my posts as trade ideas and not signals.
Traders must trade using their own back tested trade plan and rules.
Traders must plan risk first and profits second.
Happy Trading!
Comment:
Got the break of 127.32 but didn't get an extend push today so the intraday didn't give much. I held for a swing. Still hoping for a clean push to 130. When AAPL gets moving it often goes for a multiday run. Its a beast to get moving but also hard to stop if it gets any momentum.
Comment:
Pausing along with the NAS/QQQs sitting at the ATH. Needs another little catalyst to push it to the next level.
Comment:
Came within .42 of T1. VIX rising so that might have been it for the short term. Watch QQQs closely. If The QQQs can't hold up AAPL with likely follow similar move.
Comment:
Amazing swings in this market and patience seems to be paying. Had a scary open yesterday but closed above the box hitting T1 and moving to T2 on the car news.
If you were stopped out on this it fine re enter using a pull back to this box or a break of pre markets highs.
