Apple announces new software tools and technologies. Bullish

NASDAQ:AAPL   Apple Inc
Apple announced new software tools and technologies that enable developers to create app experiences for the Apple Vision Pro, Apple's first spatial computer. The Vision Pro utilizes VisionOS, the world's first spatial operating system, which lets users use the most natural and intuitive inputs (eyes, hands, and voice) in physical space to interact with digital content in physical space. For starters, Apple's global developer community will be able to create a whole new category of spatial computing apps that take full advantage of the infinite canvas in Vision Pro and seamlessly blend digital content with the physical world to enable extraordinary new experiences. With the visionOS SDK, developers can utilize the powerful and unique capabilities of Vision Pro and VisionOS to design new app experiences across multiple categories, including productivity, design, gaming and more. Next month, Apple will open Developer Labs in Cupertino, London, Munich, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo to provide developers with hands-on experience testing apps on Apple Vision Pro hardware and support from Apple engineers. Development teams can also request development kits to help them quickly build, iterate and test on Apple Vision Pro. Developers can use the same underlying frameworks they already know from other Apple platforms, including Xcode(R), SwiftUI(R), RealityKit(R), ARKit( ), and TestFlight(R). These tools enable developers to create new types of applications that span a range of immersions, including windows with depth and the ability to display 3D content; volume, which creates an experience that can be viewed from any angle; and space, which allows users to fully immerse themselves in environments with unlimited 3D content. To help developers optimize 3D content for their VisionOS apps and games, Xcode offers a new tool called Reality Composer Pro that lets them preview and prepare 3D models, animations, images, and sounds so they look great on Vision Pro. Developers can also interact with their apps in the new visionOS simulator to explore and test various room layouts and lighting conditions. Each developer framework has built-in support for Apple's innovative assistive features to ensure that everyone has access to spatial computing and VisionOS apps. Starting next month, developers who have been using Unity's powerful authoring tools to build 3D apps and games can port their Unity apps to Apple Vision Pro and take full advantage of its powerful features.
