Here's a simple chart mapping both BTC and ETH against the USD for 2017. A lot of people seemed to have gotten blown away by the fact that 10,000 is a VERY BIG NUMBER but ETH is the clear winner as far as % gains go. Unless you happen to cherry-pick a start date between each coin's peaks and troughs, most charts will basically have this same basic shape overall.
