Probably one of the strongest moves I've seen today is in OANDA:XAGUSD ; however, I've not looked at every instrument. Nonetheless, Silver is on a strong move long. Not sure how much longer, though. As I write this, it seems to be losing steam. Thought that earlier, though, too.
Took this short LAST Friday/one week ago and instantly knew it was too early, but I held. Doubt it falls much farther.
As the title says, call your wife and let her know. OANDA:BCOUSD short on the way Thats my analysis. Whats your's say?
Waiting for "low impact news" on TVC:USOIL stocks. My analysis says down. Whats yours say? It's probably wrong. (I kid. I kid)
Entered a long yesterday 3/4 and dont feel it's time to close it just yet. While many would say that it shows a giant "bear flag", I do not believe in such things. In the long term, they will fail. Long till I win or lose the trade.
Haven't been posting much but will try to more for my personal records as well as to contribute to other's trading journey. Currently in a short from Friday morning. In profit but a late trade I shouldn't have taken. Took it because we were at the end of the value area of the volume profile, but took it later than I should've. Looking to enter long sometime...
I don't often trade this cross but this looks like a clean set up. There are two trendlines and one has been broken. A lot of volume right at price, about to push it higher. A bit of a bullish flag has formed, too Long, Tuesday 10:45 A.M. 12-18
Question for the more informed: how accurate is the volume profile(by price) and volume (by time) on Tradingview charts? (that's without purchasing extra data). It seems to me, thus far, that it is simply calculated off the candlesticks cause candlesticks alone can show volume buy their size alone. I heard before that data for FX, gold and oil are all not very...
Stocks crashing, media pushing fear on the hourly - like always - so in short, bought gold. I anticipate a bit of a correction from recent resistance breaks but overall ...I am long.
While the ascending trendline forming has just been born and not broken, yet, I decided to get in early because I feel the sentiment - short term - is in the correction direction. A possible gap fill and then back to the upside. I decided to just put $180,000 at risk on this trade on a 1:3 risk reward ratio. What are your thoughts for USOIL within the next 12-24 hours?
KILLED it in TVC:USOIL today. Thought I shorted when it was ready to reverse but I held out and it paid off. Now, I'm not so sure it's gonna just keep falling as it has been. The one thing making me think it might is our very SLOOOOWWWWW transition into clean energy. Cant help but wonder if the recent downtrend stems from things we dont fully know...
Added volume profile to my strategy. From what I know, VPs point of control and/or red lines show where "limit orders" are. Still learning the ins and outs of it, so any help or point in the right direction towards good tutorials on VP(volume profile) on trading view, etc...is appreciated. EURAUD is my go-to pair cause it normally behaves how one expects it to.
I have grown to really like this pair and have done well with it, thus far. We see that it has tested some main support about SEVEN times. If it pressures it any more, I see it breaking and the pair falling for a while.... BUT....because it moves in waves, there is a good chance this is gonna get another nice bull run. When it comes back to test this 38.2...
Tried to catch this while ago but it failed on me. May have caught it today. Support and trendline broke. Looking for about 82 million pips. (Also note the pool of bull shite around the next support area.)
3-4 wicks rejecting key area. Ultimately, I see this pair falling for a long time but maybe not just yet. This is for a 20-30 pip grab to close the day.
GBPJPY has been on a northern run, but is now breaking the rising wedge and falling. I anticipate a 32.8 retracement due to the strength of the move. We shall see
This is my exact trade I took on BITFINEX:ETHUSD Looking good, so far but it's running straight into some resistance.
There are several supports to stop a flat out dump, but I still think it's heading south.
