Showa Holdings Co., Ltd. is a holding company primarily engaged in rubber, sports and finance business. The Rubber segment manufactures and sells rubber liners, moldings, teats for milk bottles, and food packing, among others. The Sports segment is engaged in manufacture and sale of soft tennis balls, sale of sportswear, construction work of sports facilities, and operation of tennis clubs. The Finance segment provides loans for motorcycles in Thailand. The Content segment is engaged in content planning, production, editing, designing, wholesale, retail, distribution and related right business of music, magazines, books, trading card games, Webs and others. The Product Sales segment is engaged in wholesale and retail of toys, magazines and other related goods. As of March 31, 2013, the Company had 11 subsidiaries.
