PT Semen Baturaja Tbk engages in the production and distribution of cement. The firm operates through the following geographical segments: Jakarta, South Sumatera, Jambi, and Lampung. Its products include Ordinary Portland Cement Type I, Portland Composite Cement (PCC), Ordinary Portland Cement Type II, Ordinary Portland Cement Type V. The Ordinary Portland Cement Type I is used in the production of various types of concrete where special conditions are not required. The Portland Composite Cement is used for building construction in general. Ordinary Portland Cement Type II is usually applied to buildings located on the edge of the sea, swamps, docks, irrigation channels and dams. The Ordinary Portland Cement Type V is usually applied to underwater construction buildings, ports, tunnels, mining areas, Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) buildings and geothermal projects. The company was founded on November 14, 1974 and is headquartered in Palembang, Indonesia.
