High Volume Filter for Nifty and Bank Nifty - by PA

phani046 Updated
High Volume Filter for Nifty and BankNifty Indices in NSE. The volume candles are shown normally if volume is greater than 50k for BankNifty Index futures and 125k for Nifty Index futures. The default is 50k for any symbol and can be modified to the desired value.
Release Notes:
Added new input fields in settings to change Nifty and Bank Nifty Futures default volumes. By default they are 125K and 50K respectively.
Release Notes:
Corrected Typo
Release Notes:
Added options to change volume bars transparency. Give value '0' for full color and any value between '0' and '100' for adding custom transparency level. Default is '0' for high volume bar and '45' for normal volume bar.
Release Notes:
(minor) changes in V4:
1. Added option to change volume bar colors.
2. Added custom volume option for Bank Nifty Index which is 5M by default (still, no clue from where Trading View gets this volume info for Index :-) but, 5M cutoff looks good to me as a starting point)
3. Taken care of 5 min TF. Default volume is 50K and 125K for Bank Nifty and Nifty Index Futures in 3min TF(same as old ones) but they are 80K and 200K for 5 minutes TF.
Release Notes:
Changes to V5:

1. Added custom high volume filters based on Simple Moving average for non-index scripts (other than NIFTY and BANKNIFTY)
2. For non-index scripts, if moving average is un-checked, the default cut-off volume values for 5 minutes TF is 25K (Intraday) and 5 lacs for 1 Day TF. The cut-off volumes are automatically scaled for other time frames (minutes in case of Intraday, weeks and months for positional).
3. For Index, volumes are scaled for intraday TFs (minutes). The default values shown are for 5 minutes TF.
Release Notes:
Changes in V6:
1. Added option for highlighting high volume Up/Down Bars
2. Added option for plotting volume moving averages (SMA/EMA/SMMA (RMA)/WMA/VWMA). Now, the non-index high volume cutoffs will be calculated as per the type of Moving Average selected with the MA multiplier applied to the selected MA type. Default is SMA with 20 length.
Release Notes:
Changes in V7:
1. Added option for selecting Moving average based high volume cutoffs for Index (Nifty/Nifty Futures/Bank Nifty/Bank Nifty Futures). We can select either SMA or EMA for the volume averaging. If this option is un-checked, the default index volumes are considered for cutoffs. Default, it is un-checked.
2. Fixed a bug with non-index positional high volume cutoff calculations. The default positional cutoff is 100,000 (for 1 day. The same is scaled for weekly and monthly). This is considered only when (non-Index) Volume Moving averages cutoff is un-checked.
3. Moving average volume multiplier options for Index is given separately. Ex: If we give index Intraday multiplier as 1.2, the current volume MA value is multiplied with 1.2 and if the current bar volume is greater than this, then the volume bar is highlighted.
