Multi Custom Moving Averages by Flinty

paulflint Updated
This script allows up to 10 moving averages to be customised and plotted.

You can set the number of days used in the calculation from: 1 to 999.

Choose between :EMA, SMA , WMA for each MA.

Set source value: open, high, low, close, hl2 , hlc3, ohcl4.

Adjust the colour and line style to suit your taste.

Each MA can be enabled / disabled with the click of a button.
Release Notes:
Upto 10 fully customisable Moving Averages
Release Notes:
Option to plot Long / Short alert when an MA crosses another.
Release Notes:
1. Fixed an error in the conversion of the time frame to minutes. Free account users were not affected as it was only when a non default time frame was active.

2.Added another MAset 'Combo' with default values of 1,5,8,13,21,50,55,100,200,314

3. Added a setting to offset the MA labels to limit overlapping of the labels

4.Restructured the settings, placing custom options in groups with a global checkbox to enable / disable with one click

5.Period setting range increased to 1-3650

6. More MA calculations added - DEMA, EMA, SMA, TEMA, VWMA, WMA

7. Ability to plot horizontal lines at current MA values

8. Option to set minimum and maximum time frame range each MA will plot. Useful to set smaller period MA to not plot on higher time frames

I want to add the option to select different time frames for each MA to allow plotting of the same MA but from different time frames on the one chart

I will also be looking in to providing options for configuring the buy / sell alerts
Release Notes:
12 MA with option for 2 extra MA plots, one from lower TF and one from higher TF
Release Notes:
Converting this to pinescript v4

New label function allows the label to show the MA type and value you specify

Hoping to implement a 7 bar prediction to the MAs

Will be working on crossover alerts / notifications

Look out for MCMA+
