Price above/below EMA

This script will give you red/green columns to indicate if price is above or below a certain EMA . With Candlestick charting, we are looking for price in relation to the 8 ema Trigger Line (T-Line). You can adjust this indicator to fit your need. Simple, but nice to quickly see.

Oops. Last line's title should be "Sell". Doesn't affect display though.

study(title="Price above/below EMA", shorttitle="BuySellEMA", overlay=false)
len = input(8, minval=1, title="Length")
src = input(close, title="Source")
out = ema(src, len)
plot(close >= out, title="Buy", style=columns, color=lime)
plot(close < out, title="Buy", style=columns, color=red)
or, just an indicator to alert when a candle cross both MA.?

Hi buddy, thanks for sharing this indicator. it is a simple yet useful one!

I am actually using SMA as trend identifying. Is it possible that you could make the same indicator for SMA?

or, more importantly, would you be able to make an indicator with alert for if price is > SMA5 > SMA 10 > SMA 20?

Thanks a lot!
