I like this high wave candle for a break higher from the last two day highs. Also need to break the June 4 high and June 5 low. Let's see what happens :)
Spotted opportunity after NDXT pull back. Strong EPS, mid range PE vs industry, limited order entered close to resistance point Txn EPS:31.57 PE:3.68
TXN starting on a potential CD leg with a price objective of $86.50 which could stretch to $83 given the congestion zone between Mar to Jul.
This is a possible bullish swing trade I may enter next week depending on how TXN trades as well as how the overall markets look. Looking at the hourly chart the 100 SMA has been providing support over the past few weeks, so we will see if that continues.
looks ready for liftoff to me almost a 3.0 R:R lemme know what you think! gl hf xoxo sn00p
SOXL is a 3x leveraged ETF, whose top 5 holdings are TXN, NVDA, QCOM, INTC, and AVGO. Earlier today, TXN endured a massive sell-off following their unimpressive earnings report, resulting in a hard drop in price for SOXL, as well. However, I don't expect TXN to stay down past this trading week, and when it rebounds, SOXL will be along for the ride. The...
Any new high should create a 3rd Monthly RSI diversion peak. Should be a struggle to break through. There was a reversal spike on the Daily chart for blowout earnings. Also, see a monthly chart of SOX and TXN for similarities.
Sector performing strong -Long term trend is bullish with strength slightly weakening but still in uptrend...consolidation -intermediate time frame showing a nice flag forming after that sharp quick advance finding support in the 80.18 area -relative strength is slowing showing a nice pullback -the real tell is the obv which is showing the positive volume...
Been following TXN since Feb 2016 - Seems to be a solid company making semi-conductors, going to start buying and stacking :) We see that it has pretty much bounced off the 50 day MA for the past year, so I'm confident they will continue to perform.
Trade Setup for TXN: Entry: After a close above $75.25 Stop-Loss: Start @ $74.00 and trail the stop as TXN moves up Target #1: $77.25. 127.2% extension. Take 50% off the table to lock in profits Target #2: $80.47 161.8% extension. Take 25% off and tighten stop-loss. More at techcharting.com
TXN has built momentum for the last 10 years and is finally breaking out of an old top established back in 2000. The sector has been performing strongly and is expected to continue. Strong bullish momentum will bring a breakout above $75. Target 1 is $97 with T2 @ $125. Accumulate on any dips for smaller timeframes, such as daily or weekly.
TXN is very oversold + flirting with support channel = a decent chance for a bounce. Stop 45.5. Target 48.
