NZDCAD D1 - Daily close yesterday saw the upside breakout, a retest of the newly formed support zone could warrant buying opportunity off the back of todays close. Already starting to see a pullback, we have breakout highs, resistance to support and 0.90 whole number too, so a handful of confluences. RR is also sitting at a huge 1:6.
GBPCHF H4 - Another CHF quote pair here, and again a very similar structure to USDCHF, sideways range bound setup. The easiest trades to quantify and identify. Don't fix it unless it's broken right? I was saying this last week, just need to be cautious of Brexit, EU/UK related headlines this week as always.
USDCHF H4 - Major support and resistance range marked on showing a 180 pip potential, please listen to the above voice note, we don't want to be caught on the wrong side of big fundamental moves! Try and work from higher timeframes if you're comfortable as this would allow breathing space for intraday highs and lows, effectively meaning we can ride some of the...
DXY H4 - Resistance zone has now been turned to support after breaking and retesting. New highs required to maintain upside momentum. Trying to follow YEN and USD strength in line with market risk. For example, minor bounce on EJ (Yen relief) but soon to be reversing downside once again as EUR/LON market volume resumes.
EURGBP H4 - We saw this bounce from support to resistance over the course of last week, market gapped down and then retest that 0.91 handle nicely. We covered this in the weekly watchlist video posted yesterday, strong GBP gains as we kicked off EUR and LON open!
USDJPY H4 - Decent rallies seen on USDJPY this morning, YEN lagging behind with general market strength this morning, back on that key resistance price of 105.650. Ideally want to monitor this price and look for some rejections and price action confirmation.
EURGBP H4 - Pushing that 0.91 handle, little over an hour until this candle closes and we see if resistance can start to hold or not. Nice break and retest of H4 support and psychological whole number.
USDJPY sell from 106.00 area aiming for 105.100 closes. Stos on closes above 106.500 closes on H4 time frame.
USDCHF H4 - Pulling back down to that support region now, would really like to see and crack and break of support, we would then simply look to enter short on the retest of that .90700 price.
AUDCAD H4 - I've marked on the bullish structure here because of the support significance, I think we should see a bullish reaction before breaking the neckline and potentially filling the double bottom, big fan of buying from support more so than selling from resistance, so usually catch an eye for these setups more than short setups. Just need to be patient for...
EURCHF H4 - CHF has seen a recent bid, GBPCHF and EURCHF has dipped a little, trendline support on GCF has broken, but support on EURCHF sits at circa 1.07220, lets see how this zone holds as we approach close, could look to buy back up to resistance at 1.07900 which offer over 1:5, with a little bit of luck could break resistance again and look to set new highs,...
USDCAD H4 - As mentioned in the above video analysis, we are looking for some confirmations from this support zone, a lower timeframe (H1) trendline break and retest would be good, some sort of double bottom with new highs set would be good too.
USDWTI H4 - Nice breakout finally seen on WTI, been waiting for this for week, a nice retest of our intersection point at 40.80 region would be good, ascending triangle ended up playing out and technicals broke upside.
EURJPY H4 - Flag break finally been seen, looking for that retest to get involved with long entries. We were watching this all week last week and it's finally broken.
USDWTI H4 - Plenty of time left on the H4, still an hour to go, but a break would be nice, we have been ranging far too long on WTI and some other pairs. Sideways markets are horrible. A break of $41.00, retest and then break of $41.50 should clear some space. Wishful thinking though, given the fact we have been moving sideways for over 5 weeks
Gold H1 - Absolutely flying without any real retest of that 1785 number! Sitting 300 pips above that previous resistance without any real pullback. Saying that, we haven't even really had a retest of 2012 highs at 1795. Just want to keep following this pair and seeing if we keep breaking the new high levels.
CADJPY H1 - Also moving really nicely, probably going to find a bit of resistance in the next 10-15 pips or so I imagine, need to break that counter trendline to maintain upside momentum.
EURGBP H4 - Hasn't moved much, still hugging that trendline support and local support zone. Lots of consolidation over the last couple of days, gearing up for a nice break or burst soon I imagine.
