[EDU] 5 Things I wish I knew before I started Trading

Hello fellow traders , my regular and new friends!
Welcome and thanks for dropping by my post.

A lot new traders including myself started trading haphazardly. Why I said so? This is because firstly we humans like something that is new and we are all very curious and wanting to explore it. For trading, how you can get into the "fun" is by getting yourself involved in it financially!

For me, I just started off reading up a bit on how to trade, know vaguely about Technical analysis and off I go I started a live account started trading, and you know the story after.
Taking big losses and blowing up the account.

So, today I am sharing 5 things you should know before you started off trading, be it Forex,indices,options,commodities or any financial derivates!

Firstly, Learning and getting info from online sources or a mentor to kick start your learning

Secondly, do some research and find a reliable and regulated broker. This is very important since you are putting your money to trade and work for you. Brokers such as ic markets and pepperstone are some of the most trusted FX brokers around with many years of solid track records.

Thirdly, do get yourself started with a demo account or paper trading. This should be able to get your feet wet for trading in the financial market!

Fourth, once you are decently confident with the trading strategy and setups you have, allocate a comfortable amount of money which you are okay to risk in trading.

Last but not least, once you are ready, start a live account with the broker and trade responsibly and of course always hold yourself accountable for this trading business that you have started!
