This Trend-Line Breakover strategy is something I use off the daily time frame - the target destination is back to the previous high range of $260. $MSFT developed a base after pulling back to support and has now broke out of that base pattern and has broken over the angled trend line. Monday May 10, 2021 I will be looking for $MSFT to maintain that momentum and breech the next minor resistance level of $256. Options ideas include a Short Put Vertical (also called a Put Credit Spread) 35-45 DTE using ATM options and collecting 50% of the spread width in credit; then using that credit to purchase calls at the $250 strike or the $252.50 strike at 14DTE. This options suggestion is aggressive - if you are interested in a less aggressive options trade - then you could use the OTM short put vertical (an OTM put credit spread) with 1/3 the with of the spread in credit at 35-45 DTE.
