Hey guys, how are you? Today we don’t have quotes and, with that, the business decreases drastically. So, we take a day off to rest from this mess that is the stock market. It was with these words that I created the text of thanks for the platform last year and, this year, I have much more to thank than to complain. Even with all the difficulty that the market and day trading provided me throughout this cycle, I don’t stop having happiness for the performance I achieved. We regret the chaos that happened during 2023, being them wars, political tensions, economic problems, debt default, among others. Every day, a surprise, what you didn’t even know.
The American financial market faced a difficult year in 2023, with high inflation, high interest rates, low growth, strong dollar, unequal stock exchanges, falling commodities and emerging markets in crisis. These factors affected the economy, the companies, the consumers and the investors, creating a scenario of uncertainty and challenge. Despite this, some opportunities arose for those who knew how to adapt and innovate, especially in the technology sector and also in AI that was the protagonist. The year 2023 was a year of learning and overcoming for the American financial market.
We cannot forget that, even in bad phases, we are always in constant evolution. And, no matter how volatile and problematic the movements are, time always rewards what we do. There is no more difficult market than the one you cannot operate. The impossible becomes possible when you understand what you are doing. Evils come for good. Just find yourself and live the moment, because even from the evil itself you can extract the best for it to become good one day.
In good or bad moments, everyone left their mark one day. Be it in the interactions of the platform, be it in the heated debates, or in comments from other portals and social networks. Who has never defended or defends their opinions and experiences with nails and teeth? I myself am like that and, as much as I can make mistakes, the help that another person can provide me is much greater than trying to do it alone. I am grateful for the wonderful trading community for existing, for people from another country being able to interact with me, for the effort of a foreigner to learn English or Spanish and to be able to talk to me one day, for the successes, for the mistakes, because that’s what makes me human, or better, that’s what makes me a good trader, be it a speculator or an investor. I recognize for being part of this community and for getting here, because, with dedication, we can get anywhere. That’s why I also value what I learned over these years of trading that we live and still experience.
