Bad news prove means nothing in the crypto market. With the financial watchdog in South Korea investigating crypto exchanges for money laundering traders expected bitcoin to drop further. The bearish scenario is still valid, but obviously too many short positions were placed and the whale decided to stop them out before short it again. I would expect further drops from 9000 level.

I would expect bitcoin prices to break that resistance on the bearish flag.
