Here is my Jan 2019 indexes publication.
Generally, these indexes do not have a long market history, I kept a bit more with ETH and especially BTC.
The idea is that history is limited by the exchange / the market with the least history, it's not exactly that, but almost.
These indexes are not magic, a good strategy dwarfs the value that these indexes bring.
If you consider the steps before trading with a strategy, recommended by a trader I learn from:
Step 1 - Context: You will want to consider an exchange with a lot of history, for instance BITSTAMP:BTCUSD.
Step 2 - Technical Framework and Step 3 - Signals: Price precision using the indexes will have low impact on the Technical Framework, but I suspect improved signals quality!
Step 4 - Risk & Money management
Each index may contain up to 10 markets, Tradingview limitation.
This time I focussed on crypto VS USD (fiat) pairs, to keep stablecoins volatility out of the picture; Bitfinex is out.
Also, if you would compare with previous versions of these indexes, you will see the update value is limited, so these updates won't be frequent.
A - Cryptos MCap Indexes (billion USD)
These are the sum of the top 10 Cryptos/Altcoins capitalization, excluding stablecoins, based on some of the exchanges price with the greatest weekly volume per coin.
The volume indicators are not consistent when using these (A - MCAP) indexes, so be careful not using FIXED RANGE or others.
These indexes should be used for signals on if money is going in/out (top) cryptos/altcoins.

B - Individual crypto price Index (USD)
These are weighted price average based on weekly volume per exchange.
I chose within the markets where the volume is consistent, so the volume indicator is reliable with (B - individual) price Indexes, FIXED RANGE OK. (note that BITMEX is excluded)
These should optimize signals quality.
With my 'important zones' in mind, I 'translate' that to the exchange I use for Step 4.
For instance, if I want to position a Stop Loss under a shadow, this shadow is a bit different on each exchange.
The price being a bit different everywhere, this is why I say 'important zones'.
I make up an idea how to determine my entry, my SL, my TPs, etc. using the index; but the precise determination happens on my exchange.

Voici ma publication d'indices Jan 2019
De façon générale, tous mes indices n'auront pas un très long historique de marché, j'en ai gardé un peu plus pour ETH et surtout BTC.
L'idée est que l'historique est limité par l'historique de l'exchange / du marché avec le moins d'historique, ce n'est pas exactement ça, mais presque.
Ces indices ne sont pas magiques, une bonne strategie éclipse la valeur que ces indices apportent.
Si vous considérez les étapes à suivre avant chaque trade d'une stratégie, recommandées par un trader de qui j'apprend:
Étape 1 - Contexte: Vous voudrez considérer un exchange avec beaucoup d'historique, par exemple BITSTAMP:BTCUSD.
Étape 2 - Cadre technique et Étape 3 - Signaux: La finesse du prix avec ces indices aura peu d'effet pour le cadre technique, mais je suspecte que la qualité des signaux générés est améliorée!
Étape 4 - Risk & Money management
Chaque indice peut contenir jusqu'à 10 marchés, limitation Tradingview.
Cette fois je me suis concentré sur les paires VS USD (fiat), pour exclure la volatilité des stablecoins; Bitfinex est exclu.
Aussi, si vous comparez avec les anciennes versions des indices, vous verrez une valeur d'update limitée, donc ces updates seront très peu fréquents.
A - Indices MCap Cryptos (milliard USD)
Ils sont la somme des capitalisations des top 10 Cryptos/altcoins, excluant les stablecoins, basé sur le prix sur l'exchange avec le plus grand volume hebdo par coin.
L'indicateur volume n'est pas pertinent avec ces (A - MCAP) indices, donc attention de ne pas utiliser FIXED RANGE et autres.
Ces indices devraient être utilisés pour les signaux pour étudier si l'argent entre/sort des (top) cryptos/altcoins.

Ils sont la moyenne pondérée des prix en fonction du volume hebdo par exchange.
J'ai choisi parmi les marchés dont l'indicateur volume est consistant, donc l'indicateur volume est fiable avec les indices de prix individuels (B -), FIXED RANGE OK. (notez que BITMEX est exclu)
Ceci devrait optimiser la qualité des signaux.
Avec mes 'zones importantes' en tête, je les 'traduis' sur l'exchange que j'utilise pour l'étape 4.
Par example, si je veux mettre un Stop Loss (SL) sous une mèche, cette mèche est un peu différente sur chaque exchange.
Le prix n'étant pas le même partout, c'est pour ces raisons que je dis 'zones importantes'.
Je me fais une idée comment déterminer mon entrée, mon SL, mes TP, etc. sur un indice; mais je les détermine précisément sur mon exchange.
