I re-looked at the chart again and somehow this is my guess/take on the movement of DJI near term base on today futures and market opening higher, plus assumptions that it will close higher EOD. I believe it may swing up to test the upper channel line at about 28600 level before reaching the projection (by the break out of symmetrical triangle) of 29700 level . Thoughts?

Looks like a break out from falling wedge pattern (brown lines), which means may continue to climb to 15,000 range over the next 3-6 months as long as price stays above 8745 price level. Need to note that it is face some resistance at upper downtrend channel (blue line) and may continue to trade sideways over the next few weeks mid term before it breaks...
